To achieve the objective of "Resource Sharing" for optimum utilization of available resources and to avoid as far as possible duplication, a project was initiated in the month of June 1990 by Academy of Information Science to conduct a survey & bringing out a hard copy of the "Union Catalogue of S&T Serials in Mysore City Libraries". With the financial assistance from National Information Systems for Science & Technology (NISSAT), this project was completed and a hard copy of the catalogue was published in 1991.
